Lexis Nexis Adds Blogs
Filed under: Uncategorized — Robert Berkman @ 7:44 pm

Well, I’ve been complaining that Factiva seems to be the only major online service trying to do the Web 2.0 dance, but LexisNexis announced yesterday that it is working with Newstex to add blogs to its service.

One interesting twist, according to the press release is that “Newstex automatically tags each blog post with company names, stock tickers, key executives and government officials, and detailed topical categories.” This should make blog retrieval more precise…will be interesting to watch this one
